1988: DIAS & DINIS, LDA. was founded in 1988, by experienced professionals from multinational companies and other companies from the field of electronics, with the main goal of becoming an affordable service for medical systems alternative to other more expensive brands.

1990: We started just as a medical systems service company and soon realized that there was a big need in the market for new systems as well as refurbished systems. Soon we started a series of contacts which originated strong partnerships, that we still keep today, with high quality international brands and companies that still compose the backbone of our company today.

1996: In 1996 we contacted a worldwide prestiged medical systems manufacturer from Italy, whose investment in the Research & Development made it a reference in the worldwide medical systems market, in the sense of initiating the commercialization of its systems here in Portugal and possibly in Africa. We still are connected to this brand today.

1997: Beginning of ELSCINT Medical Systems in Portugal having the CT Scanner field obtained great success in Portugal. Our Distribution Agreement with this brand ended in the 4th trimester of 1998, with the purchasing of ELSCINT's CT development branch by PICKER and ELSCINT's MRI development branch by GE. The Mamography systems development branch was left out and of wich we're still Distributors for the Portuguese Territory.

2004: DIAS & DINIS began the commercialization of high quality Digital Imaging Systems and also began the replacement, in its costumers, of the old imaging systems with these new Digital Imaging Systems for a better patient care and optimized workflow.

2005: In the beggining of 2005, a DIAS & DINIS - Soluções para Imagiologia, Lda. launched a series of internal changes with the objective of modernizing and improving the quality of our services allways keeping in mind that our costumers constantly need new technologies, more ad better information, bigger challenges and better ideas to stay competitive.
